Volkswagen will launch a new set of safety technologies called IQ.Drive next year. We will find this safety group on the majority of Volkswagen models including the 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan.
IQ.Drive brings together technologies that are actually already offered on Volkswagen vehicles. These include adaptive cruise control, automatic braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure monitoring and prevention, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic monitoring.
Volkswagen will also add new technologies to its IQ.Drive group in the next few years. The manufacturer already mentions devices such as an automatic parking system that will be able to park the vehicle without someone inside. Volkswagen vehicles could also drive alone on the highway in the coming years.
