Volkswagen is getting a brand-new SUV in 2020 and now, we know how much it will cost. The Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport will start at $38,995 and come in three versions with a choice of two engines.
The entry-level Trendline model may be the most accessible, it’s far from lacking equipment. It features autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 18-inch wheels, and LED headlights. It also features standard 4Motion all-wheel drive as well as powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 235 horsepower.
Optional on the mid-level Comfortline model is a 3.6-litre V6 engine with 276 horsepower. The latter is standard on the top trim. The 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Comfortline starts at $45,195 and includes a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate, leatherette steering, keyless access, adaptative cruise control, and park distance control.
The top-of-the-line trim adds Light Assist, a Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, ventilated seats and 20-inch wheels, all for $54,495.
